The Post-Challenge Challenge

The 30 Day Challenge is always an exciting event for the studio. Extra traffic, a sense of community as people cheer each other on, and an abundance of dedication that you can feel as soon as you step foot in the yoga room. This year we had more than 25 students complete their goal, whether it was 30 classes in 30 days or a different goal they had set for themselves.

The results and testimonials we’ve been hearing have been so positive:

“Practicing consistently helped curb my junk food cravings! I just naturally wanted to eat veggies and fruit, when normally I’d go for the chocolate.” – A.N.

“I usually attend evening classes, but would frequently make excuses not to go to class because I was exhausted by the end of the day. Doing the 30 Day Challenge forced me to take morning classes, which has completely changed the way I’m living my life. Now the first thing I do is go to yoga so I have the energy and mental strength to tackle the rest of my day.” -N.K.

“I feel so zen. I LOVE IT!” -K.S.

Now, here is the next challenge: to keep going!! Over the years, we’ve seen countless students “binge” on yoga for 30 days, then disappear for the rest of the year.

Yes, doing a challenge can burn you out a bit. So give yourself a much needed break from physical activity. For a couple days. Maybe four. Then hop back on the bandwagon and get moving!

Participating in a yoga challenge is to help you cultivate a consistent practice and show you how amazing you can feel physically, mentally, and spiritually. It’s a little taste of the many great changes yoga can bring to your life, as long as you keep it up.

Set a new goal for yourself and go after it with as much passion and dedication as you did your 30 Day Challenge.
